Memory Ring
Eastern Red Cedar Juniperus virginiana, tannin, iron, indigo, black walnut ink, waxed linen

Constructed with five Eastern Red Cedar tree trunks cut, drilled, dyed and stitched. One side of each radius painted with ring representing memory of the landscape. Cascading core knit with waxed linen. Confronts issues about water and land management, wildfire, drought and role of native- invasive plant species in the Central Great Plains Prairie.
